Privacy & data
This site is built for personal use and is designed to be as privacy-friendly as a website can be. The short version: all your data stays on your device.
What is stored
Your completed exercises (key workoutTracker.v2) and your preferences — reminder time, notification toggles, vibration and theme (key workoutTracker.settings.v1) — are saved in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your browser. Backup files you export are plain JSON that only you download.
What is not stored
- No account, login, or registration.
- No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no external requests.
- No server or database — your progress never crosses a network; it stays on this device.
Notifications
Notification permission is requested in your browser. Permissions are handled by the browser itself; completed status and reminder timestamps stay in local storage. You can revoke permission at any time in your browser settings.
Clearing your data
Clearing the site's local storage (browser settings → site data) removes every saved workout record.
